The company served more than 2,400 hospitals, clinics, and physician practices throughout the U.S., including 40% of hospitals with more than 500 licensed beds.

Prior to exit, MModal completed three acquisitions to strengthen its position as the largest provider of U.S. clinical documentation solutions and also repositioned itself for growth by entering the Speech and Natural Language Understanding solutions market.
