Ian Silverman

Partner & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Ian Silverman is Partner & Chief Financial Officer at October Capital, which he joined in 2013. Ian serves on the firm’s Operating Committee and leads the firm’s non-investment functions including finance and administration, operations, human resources and information technology.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining October, Mr. Silverman worked at Tenex Capital Management, where he led finance, tax, administration, and human resources.
Before joining Tenex Capital, he spent over 8 years at Ripplewood Holdings LLC, where he most recently served as Chief Financial Officer.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Silverman held finance and accounting roles at Morgan Stanley and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Rutgers College, B.S. in Accounting
CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and New York Society of Security Analysts.
