John McCormack

Executive Partner

Mr. John McCormack is an Executive Partner at October Capital. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors for a number of leading enterprise software organizations, including TeeSnap, ThreatOptix, NeuShield, and Forcepoint (formerly Websense).

Prior Experience

Mr. McCormack brings more than 30 years of expertise leading and scaling enterprise businesses in the cybersecurity and internet infrastructure sectors.
He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Websense, including during its sale to a private equity fund and then to Raytheon.
Throughout his career, he has led and realized value-creation activities, including Ping Identity’s initial public offering and AppRiver’s sale to Zix Corp.
